Sesame chutney | 2 minutes preparation | Traditional ingredients | Healthy life

Sesame chutney with traditional grandmother style of preparation is shown in this video and listed below the benefits of sesame seeds chutney.

Ingredients:

  • Sesame seeds – 5 table spoon
  • Red chili – 6 numbers
  • Grated coconut – half cup
  • Tamarind – Small pinch

Preparation:

  1. Keep the Vessel on the stove
  2. Add sesame seeds and roast it well
  3. Add red chili, grated coconut and a small pinch of tamirand
  4. Add Crystal salt as needed and roast it well
  5. Put the roasted ingredients to Mixie jar and grind it well

Served with:

  • Idli
  • Dosa

Ginger chutney - Preparation with 2 minutes is shown below


Ingredients required:

Chopped ginger - 25 grams
Grated coconut - Half cup
Tamirand - Small pinch
Oli – 2 tea spoons
Red Chili - 5 numbers

Preparation:

1. Add 2 tea spoons of gingili oil to the vessel
2. Add chopped ginger and roast it well until it turns to brown color
3. Add Red chili, tamarind, grated coconut, salt as required and roast it well
4. Put these roasted ingredients in to the mixie jar and grind it well
5. Now the easy and quick Ginger chutney is ready

Can be served with:

Idli
Dosa

Dessert (Athirasam Sweet) - Preparation | Home made | Festival dish

Christmas Dessert (Athirasam Sweet) Recipe is a famous south Indian traditional recipe. This homemade sweet can be served on festival days, good moment on our life.

Ingredients:
• Rice Flour (soaked in water for 1 hour) – 1 KG
• Jaggery - 1 KG
• Cardamom – 5 Nos.

Preparation:
• Preparation of Jeera - Add Water, Cardamom, Jaggery into the water and boil it 5 to 10 minutes
• Filter the Jeera and add it to the flour
• Mix it well to a thick fine paste that is it should not contain any solid particles
• Make the paste to round balls and flatten these balls to cookie shaped
• Heat the oil and drop it
• Let it cook until it turns to golden color

• Transfer it to the another vessel and remove the excess oil from it

Rose Lotus tea | Flavored Tea

INGREDIENTS:

White Lotus leaves – 1 hand picked
Rose Leave – 1 hand picked
Scutch grass – 1 hand picked
Honey – 2 tea spoons

PREPARATION:

Pour 2 glasses of water into the vessel and boil it
Wash the White Lotus leaves, Rose Leave, Scutch grass in a salted water and add it to the boiling water
Boil it for 5 minutes
Mix it well and filter the drink
Add 2 tea spoons of honey into the filtered drink

BENEFITS:

Lotus leaves – Good for heart
Roses leaves – Keep human body cool
Scutch grass – control diabetics

TIPS:

Diabetics patients can take it without honey

Lamb Leg Kurma | Rich minerals, vitamins & iron, Increase muscle mass

Preparation of Lamb leg kurma is explained in the below method.

Ingredients:

  1. Lamb Leg – half KG
  2. Turmeric Powder – half tea spoon
  3. Onion (chopped) – 1 cup
  4. Garlic – 6 pieces
  5. Green chili – 1 no.
  6. Ginger (chopped) – 1 table spoon
  7. Pepper – 1 tea spoon
  8. Anise – 1 tea spoon
  9. Potato (peeled & chopped) – 2 nos.
  10. Coconut (Grated) – half cup
  11. Cumin seeds – 1 tea spoon

Preparation of paste (to be added for Kurma):

  • Add a tea spoon of oil, onion, green chili and roast it
  • Add garlic, ginger, pepper, cumin seeds, Anise and roast it well
  • Add grated coconut to the mixture and mix it well
  • Grind these mixture to a nice paste

Preparation of Kurma:

  • Place the pressure pan on the Stove and add water
  • Add the lamb leg, turmeric powder, chopped tomato into it and close the lid
  • Wait for 5 whistles and change the boiled lamb leg to another vessel
  • Add potatoes, a glass of water and boil it
  • Close it and boil for 5 minutes in the high flame
  • Add crystal salt and red chili powder as needed
  • Add the grinded paste and mix it
  • Boil it for 5 minutes in the high flame
