Seasoning Buttermilk



Seasoning Buttermilk – with organic ingredients on the style of preparation from Grandmother’s Recipe. Buttermilk is a healthy, refreshing coolant that lowers body heat, especially when the temperature is soaring and the sun is beating down relentlessly. It will make you feel cool even on the hottest summer’s day.

INGREDIENTS:

  Curd – 1 cup
  Oil – 1 tea spoon
  Mustard seeds – 1 pinch
  Cumin seeds – 1 pinch
  Red chili – 4 nos.
  Coriander leaves – as needed
  Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
  Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon

PREPARATION:

  Add Curd into the mixie jar and grind it
  Transfer it to the vessel and add a glass of water
  Add Salt and mix it well
  Keep a pan on the Stove and add a spoon of oil
  Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander leaves,  red chili and roast it
  Add asafoetida powder, turmeric powder and roast it
  Add the roasted ingredients into the buttermilk and mix it.
