Prawn Gravy (Thokku)
Ingredients:
- Gingili Oil – 5 table spoon
- Anise & Asafoetida
- Chopped Onion – ¼ kg
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Green Chili
- Crystal salt
- Prawns – 1 kg
- Chopped tomato – 1 cup
- Red chili
- Coriander powder
- Turmeric powder
- Cumin Seeds
- Chopped Coconut
Preparation:
- Put gingili oil, Anise, asafetida and roast it
- Add chopped onion and roast it well
- Blend smoothly the ginger, garlic, green chilli together and add it to the vessel
- Add prawns to the vessel and sauté well
- Add chopped tomato, red chilli, coriander powder and sauté well
- Add Turmeric powder
- Blend cumin seeds, chopped coconut together as paste and add it to the vessel
- Add 1 glass of water and mix it well
- Boil it for 10 minutes then it’s ready to server
