Prawn Gravy (Thokku)

Ingredients:


  1.     Gingili Oil – 5 table spoon
  2.     Anise & Asafoetida
  3.     Chopped Onion – ¼ kg
  4.     Ginger
  5.     Garlic
  6.     Green Chili
  7.     Crystal salt
  8.     Prawns – 1 kg
  9.     Chopped tomato – 1 cup
  10.     Red chili
  11.     Coriander powder
  12.     Turmeric powder
  13.     Cumin Seeds
  14.     Chopped Coconut 


Preparation:


  •     Put gingili oil, Anise, asafetida and roast it
  •     Add chopped onion and roast it well
  •     Blend smoothly the ginger, garlic, green chilli together and add it to the vessel
  •     Add prawns to the vessel and sauté well
  •     Add chopped tomato, red chilli, coriander powder and sauté well
  •     Add Turmeric powder
  •     Blend cumin seeds, chopped coconut together as paste and add it to the vessel
  •     Add 1 glass of water and mix it well
  •     Boil it for 10 minutes then it’s ready to server
